There is the school of thought which states that celebrity is synonymous with controversy.

This means that if a celebrity stays out of trouble for an entire year, he/she must be applauded.

Here is a list of some of the celebrities who stayed away from controversies in 2017.

• Majid Michel

The actor turned man-of-God has been in the news for all the good reasons in the year under review.

He alongside two other leaders and founders of Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ (APPMC), have been taking the gospel nationwide.

• Van Vicker

The actor who celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary in 2017, has stayed away from any form of controversy the entire year.

Vicker among other things he has done this year visited Liberia and participated in a walk to meet with Ebola survivors on May 31, 2017.

• Sarkodie

I know you will mention the ‘Jennifer Lomotey saga’. But he managed to stay out of the controversies by not responding to all the comments made against him.

• Kwaw Kese

Rapper Kwaw Kesse has not been in the news like he used to in previous years.

One of his achievements this year was to feature his younger brother BUDA, on his single “Odo Adadaame ”.

• Tinny

‘When Tinny was Tinny’ he would have been part of every ‘Makola kwakwe’ trouble.

This year Tinny has not bee part of any controversy. Kudos to him.

• Nadia Buari

This year has been a controversy-free year for her and we are proud of her.
